Greetings Brethren and Friends;
I am glad to see that spring has finally come, I didn’t think winter was ever going to end. Now we can start bar-b-queing, planting our gardens or my favorite thing, playing golf.
On March 15th was our 2nd Saint Patrick’s Day Party and a great time was had by all. Also on April 11th we traveled to Detroit and was given a tour of the Historic Detroit Masonic Temple. Every time I go thru that building I discover something new. I would encourage everyone to take some time and visit the most beautiful Masonic Temple that was dedicated to Masonry in the world.
Mark your calendar: on Friday May 9th will be our 3rd annual Cinco de Mayo Dinner/Dance and
Karaoke Party. $25 per person donation or $45. per couple donation, doors open at 6:00pm with dinner at 7:00pm. On Sunday, June 15th, we will be taking a bus trip to the Michigan Masonic Home. The bus will pick us up at Astro Aluminum (WB Leonard’s work) and take us to the Home for lunch and a tour. Brother Adam Elsesser JD. And myself had the opportunity to have a tour in March. I was in awl of this facility. Needless to say, I was very proud to be a Michigan Mason.
In closing, I would like to give you a thought for the day;
“Many times God places before us Responsibilities and Task that we feel are overwhelming. To often we are ready to throw up our hands and just give up. If we look for the bad in life, I can guarantee that we will find it. However, if we look for those things in our life that are good and worthwhile, they will surely be found and the quality of our lives will be upgraded manifold”.
See you in Lodge
Commitment To Excellence
Fraternally and Sincerely Yours

Hello Brethren, Wives and Family
Just a short note to the brothers and their wives, I hope this finds you all well. As you all know the next big event is the Lodge picnic.
For all the brothers that wasn’t at the last business meeting the Lodge thought it to expensive to rent the pool, instead the Lodge will pay admission for anyone who wants to go swimming. So bring your swim suits and have fun.
I’ve come to the end of my short note, I wish everyone good health.
Respectfully,
Thomas Driver
Junior Warden
JOB’S DAUGHTERS BETHEL # 82 ALLEN PARK
We are the local Job’s Daughters. Our organization was created in 1920 by Ethel T. Wead Mick. The purpose of our order is to bring together young women between the ages of 10 and 20 with a Masonic relationship. Our ritual inspires us to honor God, our country, the laws of our country, our parents and guardians and all people. When you are a daughter in this organization you are family. You make tons of friend and you get to travel. Parents are also encouraged to come on trips with us. The more the merrier. Job’s Daughters teachings come from the book of Job in the Bible. We learn always to remain faithful to God no matter what earthly trials are put upon us. There are three branches of Job’s, local, statewide and International. At the local branch, which is called a Bethel, you meet twice a month for a meeting and once a month there might be a fun event, like going to a movie, bowling ect. The statewide branch is called Grand Bethel and it means you’re the best in the state. The Grand Bethel meets eight times a year where the do initiations or special ceremonies and afterwards there are big dinners and sleepovers for the girls. The International branch is called the Supreme Bethel. The supreme Bethel only meet once a year at Supreme Session. Supreme Bethel is consisted of random girls from different states and countries. Job’s Daughters is only offered to girls that have a Masonic relationship. If you are related to a girl between the ages of 10 and 20, please tell her about Job’s We love to expand our Bethel! Bethel #82 Allen Park meets the second and 4th Wednesday at 6:30 at the Allen Park Masonic Temple. Please stop in to see us. We love to have people on the sidelines. Please tell your young daughters, nieces, granddaughters, sisters and female cousins who might be interested. Thank you for all of your support and dedication through the years.
Masonic Love,
Bethel #82 Allen Park
